12mar11:45 am1:00 pmMastering Self-Truth: Unveiling the Lies We Tell OurselvesHigginbotham Seminar (Wichita Falls, TX)

Event Details

In the human experience, the stories we tell ourselves play a profound role in shaping our perceptions, decisions, and interactions. Often, however, woven into these narratives are the subtle threads of self-deception – the lies we tell ourselves. This internal dialogue can have far-reaching implications for our professional landscapes.

Telling ourselves lies at work involves struggling in self-deception or creating narratives that may not align with the workplace reality. This behavior can display in many forms, such as downplaying mistakes, inflating accomplishments, or ignoring professional challenges. These little lies can impact decision-making, relationships with colleagues, and overall job satisfaction.  As an organizational leader, we’ll explore how the dynamics of the stories we all tell ourselves at work can have far-reaching consequences including organizational performance, accomplishing business goals, and more.

Throughout this seminar, you will discover how unintentionally maintaining false narratives can lead to consequences, such as strained relationships, compromised integrity, and hindered career and business growth.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize self-deception in action in yourself and others.
  • Understand the impact of the lies we tell ourselves on workplace dynamics.
  • Strategically foster a culture of honesty and authenticity.
